Pop Can Art

First Published March 4, 2015 I love sunflowers.  I spent time living in Kansas and I guess the love of sunflowers is the one thing I took from there.  I have numerous sunflower pieces of art in my kitchen and dining area.  I ran across this youtube video by EcoHeidi Borchers some time back., I took her design, also using pop/beer cans and came  up with my own design.  I'm still finishing that particular piece, but here it is as far as I got. My husband's aunt's funeral was last week and she really loved cardinals, so I had the idea to try and make a cardinal out of pop cans and this is what I came up with.  We glued a plant stake on the back and put it in the plant and we had a great personalized addition to the plant for the funeral.
